Embracing Authenticity: How Being True to Yourself Inspires Deeper Connections

"See me."

"See me mom?"

A request from my curious

3 year old,

wanting me to flip the view

on the recorder

so that he can see himself,

act, smile,

witness his own antics.

There is a curiosity in his expression

of examining himself.

Yet that cry,

that request,

is one of soul!

"See me!"

"For God's sake.....someone see me!"

"Hear me!"

"Remind me that I matter."

It is not only my curiosity,

but another's interest in me

that has me asking and answering questions

about myself

that I wouldn't think to ask.

So, see me.

Give me permission

to see you.

Let us connect.

Let our souls embrace at the wonder

of each other.
