Making Pour Decisions: Choices are your masterful, powerful decisions.

Just because I have it does not mean

I have to finish it.

A bottle, 1/3 full, a remnant of the previous

evening.

I wouldn't choose it today, but it entices me

because it is there.

I chose it before.

I could have just one more, and then it would

be gone.

How often are my habits like this?

Justified to do again because they are

already ingrained, already "poured?"

An action to change them could be judged

as unnecessary or a "start tomorrow" plan.

So my options are to grab a glass and

cheer to continuing on as before.

Or, with reverence and intent,

pour the golden liquid down the sink....

feeling powerful, choiceful, masterful

in making that decision to make a change

starting today.

A Pour Decision

From "My Daily Breadth"

Feet poking out of a frozen lake in the middle of winter as someone is enjoying a polar dip

Thank you for reading and

considering these musings...

To consider: what can you "pour down the sink" with reverence and intent this year?
