An Investment in the Moment - Pay Attention
What is the price of not paying attention?
When hurry distracts you and
you miss something:
an option to take advantage of
an additional word that would soothe rather than
leave a friend empty
a date that celebrates someone's life or achievement
or the last and sweetest shade of pink as the glowing orb
that sustains life dips below the horizon.
With each miss there is a cost
and after a few in a row
the coffers of your soul will feel the hollow.
So choose who you pay.
Yourself by being aware and invested in the moment.
Or the noise and gods of distraction that will eventually
rob you of the gift of presence.
