Chasing Ghosts and Power Pellets; a Poetic Exploration of Habitual Motion

Going through the motions,

consuming whatever is right in front.

No thought, just action...

a desire for motion,

a promise of moving

toward a goal...

reaching the next level,

yet never satisfied.

Always in the stress of

the in-between.

Running from and running to,

but with no plan, no direction,

just the swirling chaos

of old ghosts

and promised achievement.

Mechanical,

with no enjoyment except

the right to type your initials

above the last player.

Thank you for reading and considering these musings...

To consider: will you give yourself permission this week to stop moving - to release

the desire of motion?
