Finding Stillness Within: Listening to the Voice of Our Inner Guide

To hear the whispered voice of God

I need to be still.

Sounds, distractions put aside.

I need to stop

with focused intent to hear

when He calls and the words He offers.

I need to wait,

to make sure I hear the entire message.

I need to pause

to make sure I understand.

Not to rush off with my plan,

based on my interpretation,

but to sit, reflect, absorb...

the gentle whisper,

the kind encouragement,

the divine direction.
